Types of No Deposit Home Loans

Home ownership spells stability and financial capability. In this day and age, after weathering the storm of the global financial crisis, money is much tighter and harder to get.

 

The banks now make borrowers jump through more hoops than ever before. The upshot of this is basically that borrowers will have to pay more, and be more at the mercy of the banks if payments are not met on time.

 

In some cases the deposit money many people had saved for the dream house has been used to meet other personal needs. All in all, there is no need to worry.

 

A no deposit home loan may be best solution to your current financial stalemate, even though current lending regulations are much tougher now, and you may have to pay a premium.

 

Here are few types of no deposit home loans

 

1. Veteran affairs or VA. You are eligible to apply for no deposit home loans if you are a retired or active member of the Army or Coast Guard. Eligible National and Reserve Guards who have worked for at least six years also qualify for such loans. Veteran affairs only require the applicant to use this loan to get only one home at a single time. One the other hand, the home obtained by this loan can’t be leased or rented.

 

2. VA foreclosures: Do you know that also non-veterans can buy a VA property? Well, this is definitely possible. You can buy these properties for a small fee.

 

3. Lease purchase transaction-The home owner sells you the property for a fixed price. You are required to pay the cash on a future date.
